Fun in the sun!!!

The weather has been amazing lately. We have had so much fun outside in the kiddy pool. The boys love the water. Mika jumps right in, Raine takes a minute; once that minute is up he's all in. I had the boys out naked today. Our house shades part of our back yard around 4pm right now, which is perfect to protect the boys from sunburns. Heat without the intense sun, it's perfect.

March Madness at the Dulcich's

The boys are getting so big so fast. We have been spending a lot of time outside lately. It has been so beautiful. We are all so happy it is spring time!!! Mika is in red and Raine in green. The boys are 19 months now and we are 23 weeks into our pregnancy. Mika is our all out play with everything boy, and Raine is our explorer and collector. Raine loves to collect rock one day and leaves the next. They play fairly well together, unless it is a one person toy, that creates some problems. It is so fun to see these boys play and be exactly who they are. Grandpa has been down to see us a few times this month. The boys really love playing with Grandpa. I know we have slowed down a bit on the blog, keeping up with the boys, pregnancy, and work has been busy lately. I will continue to do the blog so keep in touch.

It's a Boy!!!

YEAH, It's a BOY!!! Our 2D ultrasound (US) was so fun today. This little boy was moving like crazy giving us many great views of him. We left out the "It's a boy!" picture, felt it was a little to much. While they were doing the US Josh and I were able to see everything on a big screen on the wall. It was awesome!. Must say this little one is not shy, we were able to see it was a boy without a problem. They took 30 minutes doing the US. Every thing looks perfect as far as the genetic doctor saw. The boys stayed at home with Linda which made it easier for us to spend time at the doctors. Thanks to Linda Josh and I were able to celebrate at lunch alone as well.

Valentine's Day 2010

The boys loved the Valentine's Day candy their Daddy gave us. I must admit they were lucky I saved them any seeing Josh gave me the box the night before. Nothing better than chocolate and a cold glass of milk. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!!!!

Play Date

What a nice morning we had with Maria and Melissa. All these kids are growing up so fast. I am so excited to have a such a good friend with such an amazing daughter to share our lives with. It is a blast to watch the babies grow up together.

To small to play!

Second attempt in the snow went as well as the first. So, we decided a walk with blankets on was a better idea. Even thought the boys are too young to play they loved watching the neighbors tubing down the cul-de-sac. They watched for a long time. Maybe next year they can join in the fun. We finally got them big winter coats with hats and GLOVES! Yes, we were finally able to safely drive up our street and go buy gloves. Just in time to pack them up for next year.

It's snowing!!!

For all you California friends here are a few pictures of our beautiful snow!!! One thing I love about North Carolina is the weather. You get all seasons and none of them last too long. Just when you are sick of one the other is just around the corner. It is Jan. 30th and this is our first real snow for the year, and probably our last. Makes me thankful for our nice warm house, and a warm tub for the boys. We tried to play in the snow with the boys, Mika face planted into the snow the minute he walked out the door. Needless to say, it was over for him. Raine did well at first until his hands turned bright red from the cold. Yes, yes we were not prepared, we have snow pants, hats, and jackets but no gloves. Next time!

New Baby's First Picture

We all have been doing well here. We are now 11 weeks pregnant with our third baby. Yes, only one this time!!! This is very exciting. We do have some great updated photos of the boys, I'll get to that someday soon. Lately our house has been a bit crazy. Josh has been doing a lot of the household stuff including caring for the boys. I have either been in bed or at work lately. I am always so sick my first trimester and very tired. Truly looking forward to our second trimester.

It's December

It has been a very long month around here. We are just getting over being sick. It seems anytime we get a little sick it spreads like wild fire around this house. With 2 kids who share EVERYTHING I guess there is no good way of getting around it. We had to take the boys into the doctors on our Christmas (12/20) because they both had a temp of 101+. Christmas I worked this year, figured next year the boys may realize a little more the fun of Christmas. We are 11 weeks pregnant with #3 and as usual I have been VERY queezy. Ready for the first trimester to be over. Other than that all is going great with our new little one.

Miss Maria is 1 now!

We have had a nice November. Maria turned 1 this month. We had such a great time sharing her birthday with her and Ethan. Needless to say all the kids loved the sweets Melissa got for them. As normal they all had a little extra energy. That is saying a lot for this bunch, I have always been sure there was no more energy left in this world after these kids get together. They just suck it all up. We all love our energetic little ones.

Happy Halloween!

The boys first (well second really) Halloween. Seeing they were 2 1/2 months last year we don't count that. This is the first year to wear costumes. Mika was a lion and Raine was a monkey. Seemed appropriate. We had a great day at a Halloween Festival then home to pass out candy to the Trick-or-Treaters. The boys only left on their costumes while we were passing out candy. Then we went for a nice walk around the neighborhood so we could see all the crazy decorations. One house had a Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas that was as big as his house. We loved it! The joke of the night was the boys were dressed up as babies, normally they are monsters.

Hollyfest, Halloween Festival 09

What an amazing day we had! Josh and I took the day off to have a wonderful day filled with our family. We started our day with a family breakfast. Then off to Hollyfest, we all had a great time talking to all our neighbors and watching the Helevac land and take off. Did I mention the tasty funnel cake and pig races? These boys are getting so big, we are so grateful for all the room to let them run, run, run.

An Evening at the NC State Fair

Another first for the Dulcich boys, the North Carolina State Fair. We had such a great time. The boys went to the petting zoo. As usual Mika dove right in, Raine only took seconds before going hands first into the animals mouths. Other than the creep out factor of my kids' hands in random animals mouths it was fun to watch their reactions. They both loved it. As always at the fair you have to have a little junk food, a chocolate covered banana is always a winner.
