The boys first (well second really) Halloween. Seeing they were 2 1/2 months last year we don't count that. This is the first year to wear costumes. Mika was a lion and Raine was a monkey. Seemed appropriate. We had a great day at a Halloween Festival then home to pass out candy to the Trick-or-Treaters. The boys only left on their costumes while we were passing out candy. Then we went for a nice walk around the neighborhood so we could see all the crazy decorations. One house had a Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas that was as big as his house. We loved it! The joke of the night was the boys were dressed up as babies, normally they are monsters.

An Evening at the NC State Fair
Another first for the Dulcich boys, the North Carolina State Fair. We had such a great time. The boys went to the petting zoo. As usual Mika dove right in, Raine only took seconds before going hands first into the animals mouths. Other than the creep out factor of my kids' hands in random animals mouths it was fun to watch their reactions. They both loved it. As always at the fair you have to have a little junk food, a chocolate covered banana is always a winner.

Mika "The Escapee"
Boys fed, time for Mommy and Daddy to eat and for the boys to play in their play room. I'm thinking Mika wasn't in on this plan. He apparently had a plan of his own. This kid is too strong! One more new trick is opening all the doors, it's amazing to watch and hard to believe that such little dudes can reach so high. Time to invest in more baby proofing items.

Who said my boys are always naked? They were clothes, sometimes.
It's amazing how big the boys look in their cute little jeans. They are getting bigger by the second. 13 months and counting. Raine has taken to climbing. Very scary for us. Josh walked into Mika's room to find Raine laying on top the stool. It's a good thing we had it propped against the wall so it wouldn't sway. It's a busy job keeping track of two incredibly active boys who are just asking for trouble. Certainly keeps us on our toes, A LOT.

13 months playing together
Two crazy boys playing with each other. 13 months old and as fun as ever. Gotta love the built in playmates. There's one aspect of twins that makes life easier.

For all my Califorina Peeps
For all my California Peeps, just thought I would share a little rain. From what I hear the fires haven't stopped long enough for the aftermath rain to begin. So here is a little something for you to enjoy. Thank God it only lasted 30 minutes, I was afraid our house was going to float away.

Raine walking
Yeah! Raine is a walking little boy. I am so excited for him. He loves to walk, he giggles everytime he walks. The boys are now able to team up and go seperate ways making it harder for Mommy and Daddy to reel them in. Did someone say leashes? Just kidding, I think.

Happy 1st Birthday to the Twins
Happy 1st Birthday to our wonderful boys. I can't believe Raine and Mika are one year old now. We had such a great day, the boys stayed busy swimming in their pool twice and playing with their guests. Grandma and Cousin Ian came all the way form San Diego, California. Miss Maria was a huge help in celebrating the boys birthday. We were so excited to have her, Melissa and Sebastian over. Grandpa enjoyed the day with us as well. After all the festivities were over Grandpa left to go back to San Diego, he has been with us in North Carolina since February. We will really miss him. Thank you so much everyone for making this the best birthday ever.

The boys sharing breakfast
Well, I guess teaching our boys to share will not be too much trouble, with food anyway.

Raine Standing...next walking!
Raine being the cautious boy he is has taken to standing. He seems to want to walk and loves walking when Momma and Papa hold his hands. It seems his fear for falling on his fanny has overcome his want to walk on his own. Mika on the other hand... well the video says it all.

Mika walking with his firetruck!
Mika loves walking with his firetruck! He has taken many steps on his own; however, he just doesn't have the confidence yet. Every day we are close to a child who walks on two not on all four.

The Fire Truck
The boys went crazy over their new Fire Truck. Thank you Grandpa, we love our new truck. Raine is the one crawling to see what Mika is up to.

4th of July
Another first, The 4th of July, we all had a nice time at a BBQ. Raine (in green), Mika (in red), Grandpa, Daddy, and Mommy ate burgers and drank beer. Just kidding, the boys ate their typical sweet potatoes, bananas, and whole grain bread. The boys got to play with a lot of babies their age and we got to talk to adults (that's a new concept). No fireworks for us this year, just a bit late for the boys to stay up. Next year we will try for fireworks.
Mika snoring
For those who didn't believe a baby could snore as loud as a lion, here's my proof! The Mika Man at his best.
